The Höfener Garten Steakhouse
is run with great culinary passion by its chef Michael Zwingel, with only the very best ingredients finding their way into his kitchen. Quality, origin and storage of the meat are all issues that lie very close to Michael’s heart. As an example, steaks from Pomeranian and Friesian beef cattle are aged on the back for around 4 – 6 weeks in our cold store facility to ensure perfect tenderness. Only then are they carved into the various cuts. Cuts served from Friesian beef include: rump steak, rib-eye, entrecôte double, chateaubriand, porterhouse and T-bone. We also offer filets in various sizes sourced from beef cattle, including Friesian beef (dry-aged), Pomeranian beef (dry-aged), wagyu kobe style, bison, American beef and Argentinean beef.
Regardless of season, all our steaks are meticulously prepared on the splendid BIG GREEN EGG charcoal grill. Absolutely delicious!
